Providing strategic and professional leadership and governance for Health Information Management professionals across NNSWLHD including work practice design, reviews of workplace utilisation and deployment, education and training and performance development.

Oversight of clinical coding functions, in particular education and auditing, to contribute to optimisation of funding in an Activity Based Funding/Management framework.

Responsibilities / Duties: 

Providing expert advice, direction and support to clinicians, management and executive in relation to strategies that promote best practice and quality management of the eMR, including transition of paper-based health care records to the electronic health record environment.
