Responsibilities / Duties: 

The Position

St John of God Ballarat Hospital are currently seeking a motivated Health Information Manager to join the Health Information Services team to assist in the timely coding of all inpatient episodes across a wide variety of casemix. 

The successful candidate will also be responsible for the timely reporting of PRS/2 and other data extracts.

Applicants must have a degree in Science, or Health Science with a major in Health Information Management (or related).  Experienced coding in subacute health care, or in a private hospital will be highly regarded.

This position will be offered on a permanent Full Time basis, working business hours Monday to Friday.
