WW6532 - Health Informatics & Coding Manager - (Full-time) - Potential(x) - Surry Hills, NSW


If you love to make a difference to health services through a love for all things data - then do we have the role for you! The Manager - Health Informatics and Coding is a critical role within our growing Data Science team.

This position is directly responsible for leading all aspects of our products that use data collected from health information systems (PAS, EHR, coded data etc). These include analytical data solutions, software tools, core benchmarking reports and related events and workshops. In addition they are vital in our ongoing development of knowledge based solutions, including data quality improvements, education to technical / clinical staff and thought leadership on improving data for analysis.

  • Qualifications in Health Information Management and/or Health Informatics
  • Sound understanding of health information systems and related analysis and reporting requirements
  • Sound understanding of data integrity and quality principles
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely and to listen, understand and adapt to audience
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and maintain productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Confident and comfortable working autonomously, as part of a fast paced Deliberately Developmental Organisation (DDO)
  • Having leadership experience or potential to develop into leadership roles in the future.
