About Us:

Our Health Information Service (HIS) is critical to ensuring the smooth running of our clinical operations and provides non-clinical support to all patient related areas across Monash Health and is responsible for the following services:

Clinical coding services;

Health data integrity and reporting to the Department of Health and Human Services; Patient services, including admission, transfer, discharge and reception; Scanned Medical Record (SMR).

We are now looking for suitably qualified people with clinical coding experience to join our expanding team in permanent roles. We’d ideally like you to work full time, although we can consider part time (minimum 24 hours per week), depending on your availability. If successful, you could be based at either Dandenong Hospital or Monash Medical Centre, Clayton.

What you need
You are an experienced Clinical Coder and can demonstrate the following:

  • Bachelor of Health Information Management or Clinical Coder qualification
  • Relevant computer technical skills applicable to Clinical Coding Services
  • Excellent time management skills Previous coding experience in a health facility Exceptional attention to detail
