WW6371 - Health Dataset Officer - (Full-time) - Monash Health, Clayton,VIC

The team and the role

Our Health Information Services team is a leader in health information management. As the first public health service in Victoria to implement a centralised data team supporting both Health Information Services and Specialist Consulting roles, we’ve paved the way for a new and innovative delivery model. The success of this model is seeing other public health services move to organise themselves in a similar way.

We are now looking to engage an individual with a keen interest in data and data quality to integrate with our team of technical specialists who provide regular, timely and accurate reporting of non-admitted activity to the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS).

The VINAH Acute team’s key responsibilities are data submission, auditing, testing, documentation and training. The team is also responsible for developing and implementing the necessary underlying business processes within Specialist Consulting to ensure compliance with DHHS definitions and business rules.
